Hallow Village Community Group Events

COFFEE AND CHAT - Friday 6th December, 10.30 a.m. to noon

Whatever your age, whatever your gender you will find a welcome

CAROLS ON THE GREEN - Saturday 7th December, 6.30 p.m. on Hallow Green  

When Rev'd Kalantha will be leading the carol singing and blessing the illuminated crib.  Worcester Concert Brass Band will  accompany the singing and warming refreshments will be served, both of which are funded by the Hallow Village Community Group.  Do bring a torch so you can read the carol sheet.

The Christmas tree erected and decorated by the committee, headed up by Alan and Ruth Purchon, will be lit for the occasion and thanks must go the Hallow Parish Council for funding it.

HVCG COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS LUNCH - THURSDAY 12th DECEMBER.  

12.15 for 12.30 in Hallow Parish Hall.  Tickets are almost gone so don't delay get yours today.  £10 each, our catering team headed up by Russell will be cooking you a delicious home cooked roast turkey dinner, roast potatoes, four different vegetables and all the trimmings, followed by Christmas pudding and brandy custard. Nut roast veggie option. There will be entertainment while you sit back and let your food go down!    Table quizzes too.  You will get a welcome sherry or Bucks Fizz, and if you are partial to a glass of wine with your meal, please feel free to bring your own along with a glass.  Email me or telephone to book your place Joy 01905 641691.

SANTA WILL BE ARRIVING on his illuminated, musical sleigh on SATURDAY 21st DECEMBER at 6.30 p.m. 

when the elves will help him give out presents to Hallow children and listen to their requests!  Refreshments available. The Sleigh will tour as much of the village as its able to - it's a large sleigh drawn by a large tractor so some places are difficult to reach, but you will hear the music as he makes his way, so give him a wave.

NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY - 31st DECEMBER, 7.30 p.m. for 8 p.m

We are thrilled that Ian and Ally are available again, it was a nail-biting time but so glad they are  going to be with us again to entertain  with music, ceilidh dancing and some fun games.   Tickets are £12.50,   The committee need a rest so it's bring your own food, your own drinks and glasses and decorations for your table if you wish.  It's party time and if you didn't come last year you missed a treat, so book your tickets now from Joy.

PARKHEATH SOCIAL CLUB, Heath Close

(last turning on the right going North out of Hallow) Held every Wednesday 2 - 4 p.m. There is a warm welcome to all seniors, they have quizzes, bingo, entertainment and refreshments, so why not go along. Contact Jean Gosling on 01905 640819 for further details.
