Teddy Bear Event - August 30th - 1st September  You may remember a few years ago this proved a popular event and one we think is worth repeating.  Julia Ganner and Russell Sterry are heading this up and you are all invited to take part.  It is a competition and involves folk displaying a teddy or a group of teddies outside their home suitably dressed and entitled with a teddy reference,  e.g. bear grills, Bear-trice Potter, or it could include 'ted'  e.g. a clever idea previously was a bear made out of toast entitled 'Toasted'  So put your thinking caps on - there are endless possibilities and bears can be made out of any material or you could of course use bought teddies.  A map will be produced for folk to tour and admire your exhibit.  We are getting excited to see all your wonderful displays, so please get involved.

The Old Churchyard - Clean up

A good sized working party is needed to prepare this special resource for Spring and Summer.  We need to collect fallen sticks and rake up leaves.  The hard work for the latter will have been done previously by leaf blowers. We have a number of helping hands on loan from the Community Group which makes stick picking an easy task.  Metal leaf rakes will be available and also leaf grabbers, bu5t if you have a leaf rake to hand please bring it along.     Any time you are able to give within the allotted time would be very much appreciated by our community.  Please contact David as follows:

Footpaths along Hallow Main Road

If you walk along the footpaths on Main Road Hallow between the Church and the Post Office, you will be aware of the numerous trip hazards. On either side of the road there are potholes, raised and sunken ironworks, misaligned kerbs and grass verge encroachment. There have been people who have fallen, fortunately none seriously as far as I am aware. If you are concerned you should write to the WCC councillor with responsibility  SRichardsonBrown@worcestershire.gov.ukcestershire.gov.ukichardsonBrown@worcestershire.gov.uk
